About Your Current 2024 Board of Directors…

Robert Costantini

President

Robert became a member of Club Roma in 1979 with the full intention of getting involved in the Club. Soccer was of interest to him so he joined the Soccer Committee. During his time on the soccer committee, he held several key positions, including President. Concurrently, he was also the President of the Youth Group, a position he held for several years until he ran for a position on the Club Roma Board of Directors. 

On the Board of Directors, Robert held many positions; Director, Treasurer, 2nd Vice President, 1st Vice President and currently President. 

Robert stated that it has been rewarding being intimately involved in the growth of our Club from a business and membership perspective. Managing the renovations, expansions, and construction of 2 Adult Lifestyle Buildings has been a dream come true for Robert. During his tenure as President, Club Roma has become the premier Cultural and Conference Centre in the Niagara Region. Robert is extremely proud of our accomplishments so far. Robert stated that he is looking forward to the future. “The best is yet to come – Viva Club Roma!”

Tony Boccia

Flavia Orvitz

2nd Vice President

Flavia was first elected to the Club Roma Board approximately 15 years ago and was recently re-elected to serve as 2nd Vice President. During his tenure on the Board, he has focused on updating all aspects of the Roma membership, such as policies, the Constitution and member events. He joined Club Roma to stay connected to his Italian heritage.

Andrew Mammarella

Elsa Agnoletto

Director 

As Roma’s infamous crostili baker, Elsa is heavily involved with executing several events and leagues, including Gnocchi Night, Radicchio Night, and the Monday/Friday night Bocce League. Her ultimate goal is to pass on tradition to younger generations. She is passionate about Club Roma as it allows her to express her culture, meet lifelong friends, and be surrounded with people who lead her in the right direction .

Lou Marcantonio

Director 

Lou continuously offers experiences of family and strives to assist to make and keep Club Roma a place where all, not necessarily those of Italian descent, can come and enjoy our stunning setting and facilities to live, work and play. He presently assists Club Roma staff to maintain and develop building and property, helps plan Abruzzo Molise Event and Tutti a Tavola Event as well as assisting other board members with their projects.

Val Boccia

Director 

Val has been on the Board since 2015, and hopes to continue to see Club Roma evolve. He has a variety of roles as he contributes to monthly board meetings where he discusses future plans for the club, helps to plan and assist a variety of events such as the Car Show and is the cochair for the anniversary and annual member’s Christmas party.

Pat Rapone

Director 

Pat Chaired/Co-Chaired several committees and assisted in others, in pursuit to increase and diversify our membership and events. He believes in the potential of Club Roma to reach new heights and is excited about the opportunities that lie ahead – opportunities to expand our programs and enhance our facilities. He encourages everyone to get involved, share ideas, dreams, and aspirations for Club Roma, as their voices and contributions matter to assure our club remains vibrant far into the future. 

Enio Giancaterino

Director 

Enio joined the BOD in January 2023. His primary roles include participating in the Membership & Events Committee, volunteering at Gnocchi Night, and liaison for the Wild Game Dinner. He is also the Co-Chair of the Soppressata and Wine Tasting event. “Club Roma has been involved in my life since my youth days with countless enjoyable memories. It’s important to me that this tradition carries on with our future generations.”

Tony Scappaticci

Director 

Tony makes a variety of important decisions that heavily contribute to Club Roma. He is passionate about giving back to the community, as well as helping the club progress. He hopes to get more people involved as the club provides a wonderful service. “ It is nice to be part of a club that has been around for 50 years which continues to evolve.”

Director 
Brian joined the club in 2022 as a 2nd generation member.  After joining the Members and Events Committee, he went on to join the Board as a Director in 2024, as the membership liaison.  It is in this role that he strives to be the voice of the membership at each Board meeting.  He is a passionate and caring member of the club who does his best to help the club grow so future generations can also be proud members of the club, just as he is.
